Class 4 Week commencing 3.11.25

Welcome back to the start of a new half term.

Homework this week is as usual.

Guided Reading- This week we are looking at Free diving in guided reading and the text Daredevils, another information text, this will be sent home on Friday 7.11.25 for the following Friday 14.11.25 or the Monday before for housepoints, for those who want to bring it in then.

Spellings-  This weeks spellings are ch words, sounding sh, with some related to our new book, so they will become clearer to the children over the week as we introduce our new novel and through our spelling sessions.

This weeks words are; brochure, chalet, champagne, charlaton, chef, crochet machine, parachute, chiffon.

Maths-  Tables this week will be  the 7, 8, and 9 times tables with a test out of 20 on Friday. My maths is set as well as access to TTRS for work on times tables.

Reading- Please continue to fill in the children's reading records as you hear therm read and for house points when they share them with us. Bug club is also available to al  the class as another reading activity.
