Class 3 information 24.11.25

This week's spellings are homophones - words that sound the same but are spelt differently and have a different meaning. This week, the children will need to learn the meaning of the words as well as the spellings so that they chose the correct word in our quiz on Friday. The words are;

ball  bawl  brake  break  fair  fare  grate  great

groan  grown  here  hear  rain  rein  reign

For our times tables we are continuing with our 6s. Remember we can use our knowledge of our 3s to help us.

Maths homework is on Abacus - Sand Search! Make sure you read the instructions so that you know how to play. All children should complete this activity. There is also an optional worksheet for those that want an extra challenge. Remember to bring your sheet in, if you do complete it, so I can mark it for you.
